Specs Frosmoth

Specs Frosmoth is a very tough mon for the PU tier to switch into. It´s powerful Ice Beams are sure to nuke something. The following calc shows that Zard, the most common and perhaps only good Fire type aside from the rarer Centiskorch(which walls frosmoth btw) isn't a good switch in: 252+ SpA Choice Specs Frosmoth Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Charizard: 268-316 (90.2 - 106.3%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO. Natu is a near automatic adition, as it can bounce back rocks (which are frosmoth's biggest enemy really), while also bringing the Moth in safely by teleporting against a bulky ground type such as Sandaconda/Claydol. Tsareena is the preferred spinner, as it heavily thretens the most common spin blockers, providing crucial hazard control, offenive preassure and momentum. Sandaconda is in the team to check physical attackers and cover Frosmoth's dreadful rock weakness, as well as serveing as a electric immunity for the team. Lanturn is the obligatory zard/fire types check, that can also serve as another electric immunity, and bring frosmoth in against bulky grasses that may try to sponge the Volt Switch. Closing out the team, we have Scarf Passimian, which keeps the momentum and provides speed control(while also being fairly bulky on it's own if it needs to take a neutral/resisted hit)
