(BAN) It abuses the faults of the SV NFE in an unhealthy way. It's one of the biggest contributors to why Hazards Removals are extremely flawed as not only does it block spinners and wear them with little effort, but it has also the perfect speed tier to outspeed all defoggers so they can deny Defog as well very easily. Its sweeping potential has also led to a lot of problems because it abuses the aspect where a lot of defensives can't break its Substitute set, letting it have many different opportunities to set up and reverse the situation quite easily. I'll have to point out that it's bulky enough to take a hit and then heal it back via 2+ Draining Kiss. Most wallbreakers are also unable to even kill Misdreavus from 75% guaranteed without relying on Choice Locked items, which makes it not so simple to revenge kill. My biggest issue with those sets is that they're able to cover so many things and all of their sets are incredibly difficult to stop, and IMO creates some extreme restriction at the teambuilding aspect. Stallbreaker set really puts a lot of restraint not only on the hazards aspect but also on quite many playstyles and defensive mons, while NP Missy covers so many targets quite easily. Of course, It does have some important roles to keep some controversial mons in check that most can't, but it also means you're essentially going to pick Missy in most teams in order to keep these other problems in check, which I don't feel like it's a healthy thing. I think Misdreavus has centralized the meta in a bad state and I think it deserves to be banned as a lot of the problems direct back to them.
(BAN) Simply said, if Misdreavus is going to go, then this should join with it. As a standalone Pokemon, it's very difficult to play against it because there aren't a lot of mons that are comfortable switching into Salt Cure while a lot of them don't have the base power to cripple Naclstack. Salt Cure with Iron Defense + Body Press puts even more pressure, forcing a lot of teams to rely on Ghost types as counterplay. Obviously, to deal with Salt Cure, you could also give one Covert Cloak to be comfortable switching in. However the issue with that counterplay is you're sacrificing an item that makes you essentially viable in the tier for one Pokemon, and losing that bulk means you'll lose against everyone else. Ghost types are a solid counterplay, but that means you're usually forced to have one in your team and most are opting for Misdreavus, which has its own discussion going here above. While you've other ghost types that could be used against Naclstack, they're usually much generally much easier to exploit than Missy and Naclstack have already its own adaptation by using Curse + Heavy Slam variety in order to combat ghost types. I think Naclstack is too overwhelming for SV NFE. While it's not broken nor you'll need to use it in a lot of teams, I think how it has affected the tier not only from playing around it but also building against it as well has been too overwhelming that it's not a healthy presence to the meta. It deserved to be banned for the amount of restriction and toll it puts by simply existing.
(DNB) I'm one of those people that spoke about Gabite because it felt pretty difficult to deal with it as it lacks switch-ins and had really good stats and typing to set up and sweep easily while it would be difficult to deal with it back. Especially if you think about it without Misdreavus, this thing becomes near impossible to switch in without resorting to specific ones. However, I do have to admit its issues are still apparent as it does not like switching bc a lot of teams build their way to punish Gabite extremely hard if they tried to switch in, and Gabite may not have a lot of opportunity to sweep as it gets forced out by common wallbreakers like Frogadier. I do think it's a potential problem just based on how it looks, but I can't be certain to ban it right now as the meta feels like it doesn't get overblown by it. I'll be leaning toward DNB right now but keep an eye if Missy gets banned.
