Mega Alakazam's incredible speed and psychic power matches with Mewtwo! Calm Mind makes Alakazam immediately a threatening sweeper, setting up on special walls. Taunt increases its setup fodder count way more, as status no longer harms it (or other Taunt). Its physical bulk isn't that bad either for recover shenanegans on either side of the spectrum. Dazzling Gleam works against Dark types but sadly isn't super effective against its greatest check, Alolan Muk.
