Latios is the main lead. One of the most common Pokemon you'll see as a lead is Focus Sash Gengar, which speed ties max speed Latios. Trade Focus Sashes on turn one and then switch to Metagross or you might lose the speed tie turn 2. Psychic can outspeed and break Sash on Sheer Cold Machamp, Focus Sash keeping you safe enough to KO as long as they don't have a priority move.

Choice Scarf Garchomp allows you to outspeed opposing Choice Band Garchomp and KO with Outrage. Best suited to cleaning up after opposing Metagross are gone and can't resist Outrage. Fire Fang allows Garchomp to hit Wonder Guard Spiritomb due to a glitch in Generation 4.

Metagross @ Shuca Berry

252 Spe EVs on Metagross allow you to outspeed most opposing non-Jolly Metagross. Shuca Berry allows you to trade Earthquakes with opposing Metagross and come out on top. Switch Metagross into 1 HP Gengar from Latios and Bullet Punch before they can Destiny Bond. Explosion is very handy to remove bulky Suicune that can take out Latios and Garchomp.
