Overview:
Magnemite is a great pokemon that can act as a great revenge killer with its Choice Scarf set or an emergency stop to many set-up sweepers with its SturdyJuice set. It is also a strong offensive pivot thanks to its high Special Attack stat, an Analytic ability and access to Volt Switch. However, Magnemite is reliant on Choice Scarf to outspeed all of the unboosted metagame due to its middling speed stat and its Sturdy and Berry Juice intact against offensive teams. Despite its great defensive typing, Magnemite is frail mainly due to its low HP stat, which can be hard to bring in safely and takes high damage even to strong resisted hits.
