Orthworm

Orthworm is one of only two Pokemon that learn Shed Tail, a move that rips out 50% of your max. HP (rounded up) and Baton Passes a regular Substitute. Since Orthworm can self-2HKO with Shed Tail into Steel Beam alone, it is perhaps the only viable user of Mental Herb in the entire meta! As a Mental Herb user, Orthworm absorbs Trick/Switcheroo as well as lead Taunt unusually well. Substitute rips out more of Orthworm's HP and provides it protection from nasty moves such as Heal Pulse. Sandstorm turns on Sand Veil and provides chip team support, while Tera Ghost Curse can be used if Steel Beam is too lethal. 6 HP IVs make Orthworm's max. HP divisible by 8 just in case. Jolly nature makes Steel Beam as weak as possible, even though it still OHKOes Murkrow, Chien-Pao, Iron Valiant, and more. Orthworm can take advantage of the usual Tera type options to get more protection from Pranksters, escape better from trappers, or become weaker to Steel Beam and Stealth Rock.
