Hazard Stack + Nasty Plot Gourgeist-S

Stacking entry hazards in ZU can be a successful strategy, especially since most Defoggers are pressured by the setters. Gourgeist-S is a sweeper and spinblocker for this team, with Fire Blast nailing opposing Alolan Sandslash. The defensive core of Piloswine, Qwilfish, and Alolan Sandslash handles entry hazards and most offensive threats from Skuntank to Rotom. Rapidash is also a relevant defensive staple, necessary to check the likes of Rotom-F, Jynx, and Thwackey. A good Spikes team usually has a cleaner, and Choice Scarf Rotom-S works for both its complimentary STAB attacks and Trick to shut down defensive setup sweepers like Alcremie. Set Stealth Rock and Spikes early-game, but make sure to still keep Piloswine or Alolan Sandslash around to pressure Defoggers like Altaria. Other walls like Tangela, Articuno, and Wishiwashi will be jeopardized through entry hazards and Knock Off, which will make it all the easier for Gourgeist-S and Rapidash to clean.
