Protective Pads Urshifu-R has seen an uptick in use thanks to WCoP as a solid offensive pivot and wallbreaker with Future Sight support. Focus Punch not only lets it reliably overload Corviknight by underspeeding its Roost and hitting it super effectively, but it also ensures that Close Combat will KO standard Toxapex after taking Future Sight + Focus Punch. Triple Axel has led to Weavile’s success thanks to its noticeably higher power in comparison to Icicle Crash that in tandem with Swords Dance, STAB Knock Off, and its amazing Speed tier turns it into a fearsome cleaner. Since Triple Axel’s accuracy is gauged in all three hits, Wide Lens's otherwise unimpressive accuracy boosts stack, raising its effective accuracy to a staggering 98%. However, without Heavy-Duty Boots, Weavile needs to have two removal options to keep entry hazards in check. Defog Landorus-T and Choice Scarf Tapu Fini provide this while compressing checks to Zeraora, Heatran, Dragapult, and opposing Weavile and Urshifu-R. Tapu Fini can also cripple walls like Toxapex and Corviknight with Trick, while Landorus-T can alleviate pressure for Tapu Fini and Galarian Slowking, provide a great option against Dragonite and Zeraora, and pressure Ground-type walls with Toxic in order to further enable Dragapult. Galarian Slowking can further spread poison with Sludge Bomb while also providing a Tapu Fini and Kyurem check and Future Sight support, being enabled well by Urshifu-R and Dragapult’s U-turn against Tapu Fini.
