Steel-type attacks is not ideal since it makes you unable to dent Steel- and Fire-types such as Heatran, Steel Roller is more for removing Electric and Misty Terrain for the Sleep Powder set. While slightly weaker than Leaf Blade, Grav Apple provides an important defense drop. Power Whip is used instead of Wood Hammer due to Kartana's low HP that makes the recoil not appealing. Sleep Powder Kartana uses Drum Beating to provide speed control as it's unable to fit Tailwind. Sacred Sword allows Kartana to hit Incineroar and Heatran super-effectively. Spiky Shield to do some chip damage against contact moves such as U-turn or Dragon Ascent. 4 Atk is equal to 150 base attack with Beast Boost boosting it upon landing a KO, 252 Sp.Def enables Kartana to take Expanding Force from specs Tapu Lele. Tailwind/Sub Kartana may also use Sitrus Berry as its held item
