Overview:
Ferroseed's great bulk and defensive typing lets it check dangerous pokemon such as Abra, Magnemite and most Shell Smash users. Its access to useful utility moves such as Stealth Rock, Spikes, Thunder Wave and Knock Off lets it support its teammates. However, its weakness to Fighting-Types and a crippling 4x weakness to Fire leaves it vulnerable to coverage moves by the pokemon its supposed to check. Its low offensive stat leaves it reliant on its support moves to contribute to the battle.
