Gothitelle family

Goth is a trapper with Shadow Tag that takes full advantage of its offensive movepool in Trick, Imprison / Taunt, and Heal Pulse to shut down most sets that are unable to switch out or KO themselves without an item. The first set can use Trick with Pecha Berry against Pokemon that rely on Black Sludge or Toxic Orb chip for the final KO damage, and can be a wincon in its own right. Taunt or Imprison can prevent the opponent from Sub or Taunt itself, and Heal Pulse makes sure the target is at full health and not KOing itself. The issue with this set is that Goth needs to get the Trick off to so that it too can have the ability to out itself, but most vulnerable Pokemon like Dugtrio or Noivern are faster and can Sub or Taunt Goth. Speed control with Ribombee's Sticky Web or Xatu's Tailwind + Teleport is often needed to compliment Goth's poor speed. An alternative set that focuses more on trapping and stalling with Heal Pulse is also viable and less risky. Timid nature is ran for min Struggle damage if Taunted. Gothita, the prevo, boasts much less bulk and can take a ton from Struggle or SB, but its lower speed and lack of Imprison is often less viable overall.
