Ice Punch Marshadow Sand

This team was built around using sand to its best potential in the current metagame. The core of Tyranitar and Excadrill provides the team with Stealth Rock and a Calyrex-S check in Tyranitar, and Speed control and hazard control from Excadrill, which opted for a support Toxic set since even with Swords Dance it doesn't have the power to break through defensive behemoths like Zygarde-C and Tangrowth, while Toxic can help chip those for other breakers in the late game. Marshadow is a standard 4 attacks set with Ice Punch as the coverage move, allowing it to bait Zygarde for Excadrill and Necrozma-DM to possibly clean. Tangrowth is a major part of this team, being able to switch into Groudon lacking a Fire-type move, most Zekrom Variants, Zygarde, Marshadow, Urshifu, and most importantly Choice Band Zacian, which it can pivot into while chipping with Rocky Helmet then switch into a resist. Necrozma-DM doesn't need to play a defensive role because of Tangrowth's presence, so it runs an offensive Dragon Dance set with Stone Edge to hit Ho-oh and Yveltal incredibly hard. Eternatus rounds out the team as the Kyogre check, with Mystical fire to deter Calm Mind variants and Sludge Bomb to hit unsuspecting Zacians trying to stay in and beat it or predict a switch.
