Thoughts: Infernape is a really versatile Pokemon. It has great coverage, utility moves, mixed offensive stats and a decent speed tier. It has somewhat of a 4MSS, since every move is crucial for it and it can't fit every single one of them and while its 108 Spe is decent, it misses out on crucial mons like Archeops, Tauros and most importantly, Latias. Still it is unpredictable and has some really great stats.
Checks: Its check depend on its sets, but Hippowdon and Landorus-T check physical sets pretty well, Florges checks special sets well and Moltres and Fini check most sets. Mixed sets with either Rock Slide or Gunk Shot beat them, but those are really specific.
Partners: It appreciates Hazards like Spikes and Toxic Spikes to wear down its checks. It fits on fast paste offensive teams, since they really need to damage each others checks and this is important for something like Infernape.
