The equation is simple. Gard clicks mean look on the wish, the mindless player thinks he can just escape using the teleport so on the next turn you hit imprison. Now the clef is stuck, but with your traced magic guard life orb you easily two hit ko the spDef clef (and most clefs). If your opponent is running max Def clef you have probably already won. The rest of the team is just standard support. With the addition of your own wish passing clef this team beats just about any stall team. Gard also has a good match up against Toxapex. If you can get the mean look on the pex it's dead and the switch in on the pex gets you that regenerator health. Say good bye to the pex/clef core. This then just clears you up to set up and sweep the rest of your opponents team.
