Dire Claw has a good chance to status the target, with Poison crippling bulky Pokemon, Paralysis crippling Pokemon dependent on Speed and Sleep being bad for everything. Throat Chop hits the Ghost types that resist its STABs. Coaching can aid allies, Protect is always helpful in Doubles.
