Metagross Sand Offense

CB Tyranitar Sand with Sand Rush Excadrill is a great way to ensure that you do not have many bad matchups. CB Tyranitar is great against slower teams, and Sand Rush Excadrill is great versus faster teams. Rock Slide is used here to chip Thundurus, Zapdos, and Rotom, all of which benefits Metagross. Jolly is used to be as fast as possible and outspeed as many speed boosting threats as possible. Chesto berry Serperior with Rest is used to provide a full reset and absorb status, especially since Serperior will pivot into Rotom quite a bit. Volcanion is a great late game cleaner with strong immediate power. Sludge Bomb is used to possibly spread poison, and HP Grass for water types. Pursuit Tyranitar can also be great at trapping and killing bulky Psychic types such as Cresselia and Mega Latias that can otherwise wall Mega Metagross. Ice Punch is used to chip or kill Gliscor, Landorus, and Garchomp, which often come in on Tyranitar. Zapdos with Static and HP ice rounds the team off, providing the team with paralysis and another way to chip bulky ground types. Serperior uses taunt over Glare for a better matchup into fat, as sometimes Tyranitar cannot do it alone.
