Dugtrio boasts a great speed of 120 and the trapping ability Arena Trap to help the transition of SR into Court Change. By trapping the mon to set up SR on, the opp can’t be switching between their Charizard and Darmanitan or to a faster Taunt user for stoppinf Cinderace, thus giving Cinderace a clean transition. There’s also the possibility for setting up rocks on Magic Bounce users Dug can trap. Snore lets Dug not Struggle, and Sandstorm sets up more chip damage for the rest of the team (although Protect can be a safe option as well). Min special def for max damage from SB.
