Team construction starts with Munchlax and Gligar, those two are pretty much undroppable due to raw stats and damage trading capability. The next things every team needs are a rain check and a normal type resist (a ghost, usually). The rain check is usually Chinchou, sometimes Snover, and there are a few more niche options that I tend to stay away from. The ghost slot is usually Gastly or Duskull; Duskull is more sound defensively vs Munchlax while Gastly is more potent offensively. After that you can kind of go in whatever direction you want, the only requirements are that you'll want a scarfer and a lead. There's more than a dozen viable scarfers, this team opts for Chinchou to hold the scarf, which allows it to beat non-scarf Gligar and still serve pretty effectively in its role as a rain counter, but it could easily be swapped around somewhere else. Elekid has decent enough lead matchups, and can often be preserved to take a kill or two later in the game. But the point I want to get across is that as long as you have your core 4 mons (Munchlax, Gligar, Rain Check, and Munchlax Check) you can mix and match the last two slots and it will probably work out pretty well.
