This is a very simple team where I wanted to get the most value out of Choice Band Beat Up Weavile. Pickpocket is run on the off chance that if it lost Choice Band to Knock Off, it can steal the opposing Weavile's Heavy-Duty Boots, though Pressure is still fine. In general, when you want to build this kind of team, you would want to put Weavile together with Pokemon with high Attack while still following a reasonable building pattern. I thought that Volcanion paired well with Weavile considering they share common enemies in Tapu Fini and even Toxapex, since Weavile can benefit from Toxapex being burned by Steam Eruption or damaged by Earth Power. I then looked for pivots to help Weavile and Volcanion come in, and I considered Zapdos and Landorus-T for the job. Zapdos in general is a strong offensive presence and offers defensive utility with Static against Pokemon like Tornadus-T, Kartana, and Galarian Zapdos. It also helps keep Urshifu-R in check together with Volcanion. Landorus-T was important because I still needed a Stealth Rock setter and Electric immunity, and I even put Defog on it as redundant as it looks; I couldn't go without Earthquake because Heatran and even Zeraora and Tapu Koko could become too problematic. Its spread is enough to outspeed Timid Volcanion and more focused on Special Defense to take on Choice Specs Dragapult. Assault Vest Melmetal patches the holes the team had against Tapu Lele. Choice Scarf Kartana was the optimal missing piece at this point with its high Attack for revenge killing threats like Arctozolt under hail and Nihilego with a Speed boost.
