Overview:
Despite Primal Groudon's popularity, Primal Kyogre remains a most dangerous wallbreaker thanks to its high offensive stat, access to Calm Mind, and the ability to attack both physically and specially. Its Primordial Sea ability further helps it offensive presence by boosting its Water-Type moves and providing a good defensive utility by removing Desolate Land and act as a decent Overheat switch-in or a check to mixed Rock Polish variants of Primal Groudon. However, it is held back by its average speed and a lack of recovery option, which makes it prone to being worn down throughtout the match and struggles against faster, offensive team. An average Defense stat leaves it vulnerable to strong physical attacks, including Primal Groudon's Precipice Blades.
