Venusaur Magnezone Stall

This team is a stall team first and foremost - so it focuses on walling the most important threats in the metagame while making slow but consistent progress and exhausting the options of the enemy team. Mega Venusaur is used as it is a very bulky Pokemon that can wall many threats such as Crawdaunt, Keldeo, Manaphy, and Serperior, all which usually give Stall a very hard time. Here, a Modest nature is used over a Bold or Calm one because Venusaur hits surprisingly strong and can be difficult to switch into with a Modest nature and potential sludge bomb poison chances. Knock Off is used to cripple common switch-ins such as Tornadus and Heatran. However, another popular and viable option is Growth, providing Mega Venusaur with immense wallbreaking powers. Magnezone is used to eliminate steel types that the team can struggle against such as Skarmory, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor. Magnezone is EV'd to live a Superpower from 16+ Atk Mega Scizor from full. Last move is Thunder Wave but could also be Toxic or Flash Cannon. Quagsire with Unaware is a strong blanket check to multiple physical threats. Haze is used to reset stats on set up Pokemon such as Gliscor or Clefable that can potentially be annoying. Skarmory uses Counter but this could be changed to Iron Head or Brave Bird for more consistency.
