Liepard can be paired with Rotom-Frost to Pursuit trap or otherwise significantly threaten some Pokemon that Rotom-Frost has trouble dealing with on its own, allowing the pair to pick some teams apart. The two together also form a threatening Volt-Turn combination.

This core struggles greatly with Fighting types that can outspeed or circumvent the speed of both Rotom-Frost and Liepard, cannot defensively deal with Bug type attackers reliably, and is threatened heavily by Lycanroc as well as being worn down by hazards. The lack of defensive capability of this core also presents a problem in dealing with powerful attackers.
