This team utilizes a core of Regieleki + Galarian Zapdos, a threatening pair that lures and takes advantage of the most common switch-in to Regieleki in Landorus-T. Galarian Zapdos forces out special walls such as Blissey, Galarian Slowking, and Ferrothorn for Regieleki, while it in turn threatens common switch-ins to Galarian Zapdos such as Toxapex, Slowbro, and Corviknight. This team utilizes Ferrothorn and Landorus-T to stack entry hazards and has Rapid Spin Regieleki as entry hazard removal. Both Regieleki and Weavile heavily benefit from the entry hazards; Regieleki appreciates Ground-types such as Hippowdon and Garchomp being worn down, while Weavile enjoys Toxapex, Tapu Fini, and Urshifu-R being weakened. The defensive backbone of Slowking + Ferrothorn + Landorus-T lets the team play more passively and gradually wear down bulky teams, but the team still has Pokemon such as Weavile, Regieleki, and Galarian Zapdos to threaten more offensive builds and play more proactively.
