This team is built around taking advantage of an underexplored archetype in dual screens offense. Scream Tail is chosen as the screens setter thanks to its excellent utility movepool; with similarities to Azelf from past generations, it can compress the roles of screens setter and Stealth Rock setter into one teamslot while having great bulk to easily facilitate multiple setup opportunities. Haxorus is the team's main breaker; while it will usually not sweep, it's great at KOing at least two opposing Pokemon before going down. Drednaw and Tyranitar are similar to Haxorus, using their brute strength to break past opposing defensive Pokemon; Drednaw can also lure Unaware Quagsire with Grass-type Tera Blast if necessary, often paving the way for an Oricorio or Tyranitar sweep. Polteageist and Oricorio are the team's main sweepers. They can be extremely difficult to stop once they set up, as their Speed, and bulk in Oricorio's case, after a setup turn can make it impossible to deal with them if their checks are not at full HP; they often won't be after dealing with another member of the team.
