Sandshrew-A has the weakest Steel Beam in the entire meta, failing to OHKO anything with it. Sandshrew-A can remove the items of opposing Imprison-Steel Beam users with Knock Off. Sandshrew-A can try to abuse its abilities with Snowscape, set Stealth Rock (it likely won't get a chance because it is so slow), or go for Tera Ghost Curse. Sandshrew-A is frail enough to be serviceable Steel Beam fodder, being OHKOed by Zamazenta, Dugtrio-A, Orthworm, and more. Sandshrew-A should be Jolly so its Steel Beam is as weak as possible. Black Sludge lets Sandshrew-A KO itself somewhat quickly, even against opposing Heal Pulse users. 6 HP IVs make Sandshrew-A's max. HP divisible by 8 so it KOes itself as quickly as possible. Tera Dark lets Sandshrew-A dodge Pranksters, while Tera Ghost enables Ghost Curse.
