This VoltTurn is built around the classic Special Victini + Zeraora combination. Victini is one of the best offensive partners to Zeraora, taking advantage of all of its Grass-type switch ins while weakening Ground-types like Rhyperior with Energy Ball, while Zeraora pressures Slowking and Chansey for Victini. Skarmory provides key Spikes support to help punish the pairs switch-ins even further here. Boots Primarina helps to check Salamence and Kommo-o, and provides a second pivot to bring Victini in on Grass-types. Choice Scarf Krookodile provides key speed control and an offensive check to Pokemon like Alakazam and Chandelure, while compressing Rocks. S Skarmory provides a check to threats like Lycanroc-Dusk and Scizor, and a switch in to Amoonguss to absorb Spore with Safety Goggles. Amoonguss rounds off the team with a Zeraora check, Sleep support, and more reliable Keldeo check.
