- Trick Room / Helping Hand
- Ally Switch / Helping Hand
- Protect
Set Details: Spritzee finds itself as a good support in the tier thanks to his bulk, typing and movepool. This set provides so much utility for the team as it is able to put some speed control with Trick Room, search for set-up opportunities with Ally Switch or just give extra power with Helping Hand. Spritzee also has a powerful STAB in Moonblast, being able to hit hard to anything that hits neutral. Its EV spread, with a respectable bulk of 27/21/21 allows him to tank through many attacking Pokemon, also avoiding getting 2HKOed by Ponyta. The SpAtk invested EVs allows him to hit a bit harder, making able to 2HKO bulky Eviolite Vullaby and do more damage in general. 9 speed allows him to avoid speed tie with Foongus and its annoying Spore, while also being slower than almost anything during Trick Room, but also allows to reach 18 speed in Tailwind, making it faster than the 17 speed tier. Spritzee is in general, a nice glue to most of the teams, specially those who had several speed controls in Tailwind and Trick Room and can perform well under both of them, and teams with a clear set-up sweeper wincon like Omanyte or Onix. It also has a great synergy with everything that suffers against the king Mienfoo, like Pawniard. Spritzee shines against offensive teams that relies on tailwind or webs as its main wincon. Its also good against most of the Tailwind setters of the meta like Vullaby or Cottonee. On the other side, Spritzee suffers if his eviolite gets knocked off or against other supports like Foongus which can shut him down with status.

- Trick Room
- Nasty Plot / Protect
Set Details: This set is meant to be used in offensive trick room teams, or at least, teams that does not really need Tailwind as a speed control. Its main goal is to be one of the Trick Room setters of the team and hit hard while it lasts. Moonblast as the main STAB makes almost perfect coverage with Psychic dealing with poison-types like Foongus or Koffing. Nasty Plot or Protect is the last option, depending on how well supported your team is in order to look for set-up opportunities or just increase its longevity through the match.
The EV spread is meant to hit as hard as possible with full AtEsp. The rest is destined to bulk in order to tank hits easily. Since its meant for playing in TR, 7 speed means is faster than everything in the meta, including Foongus.
This set makes a good synergy with other TR setters like Porygon or Gothita. Support pokemon with access to Fake Out or redirection as Mienfoo, Squirtle or Foongus helps Spritzee to set TR safely. This set only struggles offensively against Steel pokemon like Magnemite or Pawniard, so partners like Mudbray or some Fighting pokemon like Mienfoo, previously mentioned, or Scraggy can be useful.
