This team features two multiple-bodied Pokemon in Barbaracle as one of the main sweepers, and in Metagross as one of the best lures to Swampert, one of those bulky Pokemon Barbaracle would have a hard time dealing with. Barbaracle is aided by Nasty Plot Infernape to specialize in the Special side with a hint of Priority to pick up weakened foes. Since these two attackers are somehow frail defensively, it needs some form of support such that it can take damage while setting up, hence Aurora Veil comes into mind in the form of Articuno. Krookodile provides an answer against Mega Manectric and aids Metagross in breaking some of the troublesome Pokemon Infernape and Barbaracle has to deal with, and finally, Altaria is the sole defensive Pokemon in the team, catching some attacks and can clear hazards away with Defog.
