Lando’s variant is just bulky enough to take +2 Acrobatics from Hawlucha after rocks, and KO it with Z-Fly. It sets up rocks reliably and can set up to wallbreak easily due to its extra bulk. It also blanket checks a lot of physical threats, even with less bulk than fully defensive variants. Bulu deals with specs Lele and provides a blanket check to many offensive special threats. Bulu also doubles as a seed activator for Hawlucha. Hawlucha is simply the common variant, except with Grassy seed and Stone Edge to KO defensive Zapdos after rocks at +2 without risk of getting paralyzed from Static. Pelipper is a fantastic check to trapper Heatran and Charizard-Y and sets up rain for Swampert and Greninja. It also serves as the team’s defogger, has reliable recovery, and hits unexpectedly hard with Scald and Hurricane. Its spread allows it to live Jolly Lando’s Stone Edge after Stealth Rock and KO it with Scald. Swampert is an all-out attacking variant with Focus Punch to deal with Ferrothorns on the switch. It runs Stomping Tantrum to bypass Grassy Terrain’s Earthquake reduction. Earthquake can be run instead, or as a replacement to Focus Punch. Standard Greninja is the breaker of the team, taking advantage of rain boosted Hydro Pump and Water Shuriken. A Life Orb variant can be run to avoid getting locked into one move as the loss in power isn’t missed too much, but it makes the team weaker to stall. If stall becomes a problem, Landorus can run substitute instead of Stealth Rock, and Rocks can be put on Swampert instead of Focus Punch. If you choose to do this, you can also switch Fly for Stone Edge and use Rockium-Z to break through Skarmory, but note that it will make you weak to Hawlucha.
