Garchomp @ Yache Berry
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 SpD
- Dragon Claw
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang
Usually Swords Dance and then just sweep. Ally Gengar/Zapdos means you can freely spam Earthquake without worrying about hurting an ally. Use Focus Sash if it isn’t in use already. Fire Fang the Abomasnow instead of boosting. If you do singles with this Garchomp set, you may wish to get a second to avoid tutor costs for swapping between Outrage and Dragon Claw. Outrage can be used instead of Dragon Claw but you won’t be able to select which enemy you hit with it.

Gengar @ Focus Sash
Hasty Nature (Or alternatively Naive/Timid)
EVs: 252 Spatk / 252 Speed / 6 HP
IVs: optional low Def/Sp.Def
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Destiny Bond
- Protect
The lower defence should encourage the NPCs to attack Gengar more. Using Protect to take advantage of this so that Garchomp can boost and attack safer. Although often the NPCs will just attack Garchomp or do something else anyway. Metagross can safely use Explosion next to Gengar as well without Gengar needing to use Protect.

Zapdos @ Lum Berry
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Sp.Attack / 6 Sp.Defense / 252 Speed
- Discharge
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power Ice 60 to 70
- Detect
Discharge spam next Earthquake spamming Garchomp is usually the way to go. Heatwave as an alternative. Hidden Power Ice is often convenient to have but you could put something else in that move slot. For example Air Cutter for some reason. Detect allows Metagross to explode next to it without harming it. Choice Specs or Magnet can be used instead for extra damage and Life Orb is an option during the set you bring your Ribbon Master.

Suicune @ Leftovers
Bold Nature (Or Relaxed if using the Gen 4 Shiny Event one)
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 6 SpAtk or SpDef
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Calm Mind
- Rest
More or less the same as the singles team, bulky Calm Mind and Rest spam then sweep.

Metagross @ Life Orb
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Atk / 12 Def / 8 Spe (Or 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP)
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Bullet Punch
More or less the same as the singles team. Metagross is also the one you drop for your Ribbon Master.
