If my Nats 2012 and June IC 2013 teams are me at my most aggressive in Gen. 5, this is arguably me at my meanest. The staples here are Arcanine/Suicune. The former was a set given to me by a friend, and is designed to live Modest Gem Dracos from Latios in a time before Arcanine - no matter the variant - was mainstream. The idea is simple: you heavily debuff offensive stats with the dog while the latter beast sets up Calm Minds. By the end of the setup phase, it's probably time to Rest, at which point, only crits are breaking this duo. If Wisp didn't connect, Scald was always by my side. And Cress. The Cress/Canine lead with Cune in back was as filthy as it got: front load the Snarls, Wisps, and Screens, then Calm Mind. As far as other teammates go, Banded Ferro was a callout (even with its unoptomized spread and... Leech Seed? Dude, it had Knock Off that Gen.) Gyro Ball usually had 120-150 BP and could one-shot Latios. Steel/Grass and high bull also meant Trick Room was never strictly necessary, and I have to say, it paired nicely with my more standard core if Cune/Canine wasn't the play. Granted, Defiant Torn wasn't standard at that point, but I'd argue it was more standard than half of the team.
