This team is designed to overwhelm the opponent with several powerful setup sweepers. Focus Sash Mew gets the team off to a strong start, denying opposing entry hazards while setting its own and preventing hazard removal with Explosion. Shell Smash Blastoise is arguably the strongest setup sweeper in the tier thanks to its power, ability to boost its Speed, and impressive natural bulk, making it a natural fit for the team. Mismagius brings an amazing Speed tier and the ability to prevent Rapid Spin alongside its own impressive sweeping capability; Substitute allows it to play around status moves and Sucker Punch. Absol packs fantastic two-move coverage between Knock Off and Play Rough and nuclear priority, making it a threat to bulky and offensive teams alike. This priority also helps ward off opposing sweepers that may otherwise pose issues to the team, such as weakened Blastoise or Dragon Dance Flygon. Heracross is valuable in two ways: resisting Dark moves like Absol's Sucker Punch and softening up opposing walls for its teammates. Espeon, while a solid sweeper in its own right, is especially adept at picking apart ill-prepared defensive teams thanks to its reliable recovery and Magic Bounce denying phazing moves, Taunt, and status moves. As a bonus, it also forces the opponent to think twice about setting up entry hazards.
