The team is built around the core of life orb Vish and offensive support Whims. Whims provides tailwind support and kills bulky waters and haban dragons that Vish can't kill on its own, especially storm drain gastrodon. Vish is lo, with protect to draw fake out turn one which can be punished with lo whims. Lo is nearly as strong as band and allows for more flexibility, such as using psyfangs on amoongus while still threatening massive fishous rends. Incineroar backs up the original core with fake out and intimidate support as well as breaking the grass types they struggle to beat like ferrorthorn and amoongus. It also improves mus vs jailmew, psyspam, sun and sand. Magnezone is a handy glue, providing additional speed control, another way of breaking waters like primarina and helping out vs rain and psyspam.
