While tied for being the current fastest non-Prankster-user with Taunt with Calyrex-S and Electrode-H, Electrode lacks the utility and self-2HKOing ability of its rivals, so its best shot at being on a team is as a spare disruptor in a Grassy Terrain team. Thunder Wave acts as speed control that can suppress opposing Toxic Orbs. While Electrode's pure Electric typing can be surprisingly handy to switch into opposing Thunder Waves and Nuzzles without being paralyzed, it unfortunately makes it unable to be OHKOed by any viable Steel Beam users. Thus, Electrode prefers a Hasty nature to take more from opposing Struggle. Electrode's Soundproof ability makes it luckily immune to Roar and Parting Shot but unfortunately immune to opposing Perish Song. Electrode tends to stay in and Taunt and otherwise disrupt others, so it prefers Toxic Orb. Electrode prefers Tera Dark so it becomes a very hard-to-disrupt disruptor that is immune to Prankster. Alternately, Electrode can use Tera Ice or Tera Rock with its first move against Steel Beam-abusing teams if your team is otherwise Steel Beam spam-weak, with Tera Ice also helping against Court Change teams and Tera Rock letting it be OHKOed by Electrode-H Chloroblast even when Hasty.
