lycan and thundy share a lot of the same checks, such as amoonguss, nidoqueen, or tangrowth, but hit on different sides, meaning they break pretty well for each other. Krookidile checks psychics and electrics, while also being able to toxic stuff like Buzzwole and Tangrowth. Tangrowth checks Keldeo, Primarina, and soft checks a bunch of other stuff, while also providing more Knock Off support. Washtom provides another ground check, while also acting as another scizor answer and flying resist. Washtom also provides defog support and is able to volt on things like Amoonguss to bring in teammates that can abuse such pokemon. Finally, Mew sets spikes to help break down the opposing team while also checking fighting types and luring stuff like Salamence or Scizor.
