Some opposing leads can be awkward for this team considering Slurpuff is using red card against things like a Nido lead, Roserade, Nihilego, specs Aegislash, but they can be navigated between puff and rachi, but puff doesn't have to always lead; the red card can come in handy in some matchups or bringing puff in on a uturn to set webs and boom. Jirachi is almost always the follow-up to a boom in that its role is to prevent defog from things like Salamence, Rotoms, Moltres, etc. with meteor beam; a speed tie against mence, but well worth the reward. Against Tentacruel or Regieleki, you will likely be forced into Mimikyu to deny rapid spin, but it's often worth it. Team has the upper hand against most offense mirror matches since puff has coat to prevent hazards and card helps create momentum, rain tends to be manageable, against sun you basically have to use mimi to deal with Venusaur and deny Torkoal's spin too, hail is tough for this team, trick room is almost unwinnable, Hatterene matchup is tricky but can be manageable.
