Eternatus is a very anti-meta pick into the current Regulation G metagame. While it's combination of very high Sp.Atk and Speed is not unique (darn you Calyrex-S), it does have a few important qualities that make it stand out. It's bulk when combined when it's high Sp.atk and Speed is notable. It is very fast and needs very little investment to outspeed Caly-S after an Icy Wind, and since it wouldn't outspeed Caly-S if you went timid, Eternatus has the luxury of being able to heavily invest in HP and Sp.Atk and still will be able to outspeed anything (besides regieleki) after an Icy Wind. I chose the three attacks as they hit everything really hard that isn't a steel type. That brings us to Volcarona. It is able to handle both Zamazenta and Zacian and brings overall support with Rage Powder + Flame Body as well as Tailwind. Iron Bundle felt better than Flutter Mane as it has 1 more point in speed than all the other basr 135's in the metagame. Also Encore is game breaking. Urshifu is here to take advantage of your speed control and do overall big damage. Farigiraf is here to help the way it always does. Good into both forms of Calyrex, gives you a way to stop TR or use TR. Ursaluna is a matchup patch, as with the TR mode, Ursaluna does very well into Choice item Miraidon with its ground typing and tera fairy. Notable Leads: Iron Bundle + Eternatus can start messing things up. Good lead vs. Terapagos teams and non-rockpon Calyrex-I teams (icy wind + meteor beam can ohko caly-i). Volcarona + Farigiraf with Etern and Ursaluna in the back vs. Miraidon teams. I've already wrote too much but there are a lot of fun calcs here. One of my favorites is that you can KO speed booster flutter before it can move with Tera Sucker Punch + Freeze Dry.
