With its unintuitive access to Steel Beam and its more intuitive access to Imprison along with its blazing 138 base Speed, Zacian is a threat to watch out for in The Loser's Game! Zacian can quickly shut rivals out of using Steel Beam and Substitute with Imprison, and its Fairy typing makes it weak to Steel Beam itself so opposing Steel Beam users really regret watching Zacian switch in. Protect shields Zacian for a crucial turn, while Misty Terrain can be used to prevent Toxic Orbs from activating and paralysis from being inflicted. Zacian is Jolly to make Steel Beam as weak as possible, although it still OHKOes Chien-Pao, Shroodle, Iron Valiant, and more. Black Sludge and 2 HP IVs combine to let Zacian self-2HKO with Substitute and Steel Beam. Zacian needs 3 perfect IVs, so put them into its great Speed and lesser-used Attack and Defense. Tera Dark shields Zacian from opposing Pranksters, although Klefki wil still shut Zacian out of Steel Beam first with its own Imprison.
