- Bulky and decently strong Normal with Early Bird, making Kangaskhan a solid sleep absorber and can afford to use Rest to heal itself. -Lots of defensive Pokemon such as Registeel, Vaporeon, and Chansey usually can't break through Kangaskhan's Rest loop, making Kangaskhan possibly troublesome for a lot of balance builds. - Kangaskhan's balance of bulk and power also allows it to soft check threats such as Raikou, Alakazam, and Houndoom. - Has to compete with other, more immediately powerful or bulkier Normal-types. The turn of sleep can be taken advantage of by several strong physical threats. Kangaskhan also has to deal with several potential blocks such as Scizor, Haunter, Armaldo, and to an extent Weezing.
