Its good 85 Attack stat means Munchlax is not quite passive and can even sweep with Curse. Munchlax can support its teammates by spreading paralysis through Glare. Despite this, Munchlax is the slowest pokemon, which it will always goes last and even unable to outspeed paralyzed pokemon with 16 speed and above. Its lone typing lacks resistances and has middling Defense stat, which leave it reliant on raw bulk to tank hits and is prone to strong physical attacker. Much like other walls, Munchlax is vulnerable to Knock Off as losing its Eviolite leaves it prone to getting 2HKOed by the pokemon its supposed to check such as V-create Ponyta and various special attackers like Snivy, Nasty Plot Vullaby and Life Orb variants of Gastly, Staryu, Abra and Carvanha.
