Wingull Offense

This team utilizes an offensive core of Wingull and Galarian Ponyta, two fast special attackers that are able to break through a myriad of Pokemon across the tier. Wingull can spam its powerful Hurricane on neutral targets and try to burn the opposing Pokemon with Scald or pivot with U-turn to a more applicable Pokemon. Galarian Ponyta has a strong STAB Psychic attack, but it can also use Dazzling Gleam to hit Vullaby and Mystical Fire to hit Ferroseed. Additionally, Protect can help it face trappers such as Trapinch and Diglett, both of which can otherwise trap and potentially OHKO Galarian Ponyta easily with First Impression and Sucker Punch, respectively. Onix and Ferroseed were added to give the team some insurance against Flying-types, as both can set up hazards and, in Ferroseed's case, slow them down with Thunder Wave. Spritzee works well with the bulkier members of the team, as it can Wish pass to any one of its teammates that needs it or potentially steal some items with Covet. Timburr wraps up this team as an answer to Steel-types while providing some much needed priority for setup sweepers, both of which cause havoc for the team without Timburr.
