Regieleki zooms through types such as Psychic, Fairy, and Fire with a Choice Specs set! Rising Voltage shocks special walls such as Galarian Slowking and Blissey, 2HKO'ing these under Electric Terrain. Volt Switch takes advantage of switchins that aren't Ground-type such as Tapu Bulu and Hydreigon, letting Regieleki pivot in Zapdos and Zeraora. Thunderbolt 2HKOs Latios and Hydreigon, while Hyper Beam finishes off Electric immune Pokemon such as Nidoking and Thundurus-T. Tapu Koko is a mandatory teammate, as it sets Electric terrain which empowers Rising Voltage to terrifying levels. Air Balloon Magnezone takes advantage of Regieleki's ability to force switches, allowing Magnezone to trap and remove Excadrill, a great threat to Electric teams. Rotom-W takes advantage of the other Ground-type switchins such as Krookodile, Landorus, and Swampert, and Defogs entry hazards which chip down Regieleki. Zapdos deals with Grass-types such as Rillaboom and Tapu Bulu which shrug off its attacks. Zeraora deals with Hydreigon and Latias which inconvenience Regieleki, and deals with Mega Lopunny and Urshifu-R which can pick off Regieleki with priority moves.
