Diglett @ Life Orb
Ability: Arena Trap
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
- Sucker Punch
- Substitute / Earth Power
Set Details: Diglett is a threatening pokemon thanks to its ability to trap grounded Pokemon and its high speed. Aerial Ace grants Diglett a Flying-Typing and allows it to reliably trap weakened Fighting-types and Grass-types such as Mienfoo, Timburr, and Foongus, as well as avoiding countertrapping attempts from Trapinch and opposing Diglett. Sucker Punch allows it to pick off faster pokemon. Substitute allows it to avoid Sucker Punch from Pokemon like Pawniard while Earth Power is an option to hit Ground-weak pokemon under Grassy Surge. This set is extremely frail and struggles to come in safely without pivot support.

Diglett @ Eviolite
Ability: Arena Trap
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
- Final Gambit
- Earth Power / Sucker Punch / Substitute
Set Details: This set utilizes Eviolite to survive at least one hit from the pokemon it attempts to trap. Eviolite Diglett is able to survived a Life Orb Grassy Glide from Grookey and a Life Orb Extreme Speed from Dratini at full health, and survives a High Jump Kick from Choice Scarf Reckless Mienfoo, a Play Rough from Steel/Fairy Ponyta, and a Scald from some Water/Poison after Stealth Rock. Final Gambit allows Diglett trade itself to heavily damage its opponent. This set lacks the extra power from Life Orb, and misses out many OHKOs against many pokemon.
