Set hazards and chip physical attackers with Garchomp and Ferrothorn. Trap and eliminate nuisances with Heatran (especially opposing Clefable and Corviknight, though Taunt + Earth Power also lets it take out Toxapex switching in to Magma Storm if you're healthy). Weezing is an excellent, multipurpose counter, especially against Guts users and most Ground Pokemon. It can also outspeed and Haze the main Stored Power sweepers if you can get it in safely (see Clefable). Clefable keeps the team healthy and provides some security against special set-up sweepers. Zapdos is there to try to stop Zamazanta, who otherwise steamrolls this team and can still be a problem even with Zapdos (Previously this slot was occupied by specially defensive Hydreigon, who helped against Reuniclus, Magnezone, and the occasional Sigilyph, but that version auto-lost to Zam).
