Vanilluxe is a new addition to the VR as a potent wallbreaker that takes advantage of the main Ice resists being Water types and Pokemon that can easily get worn down by its strong STAB Blizzard + Hail such as Aegislash. This team provides it with ample opportunity to do its thing, with Zarude + Azelf forming a deadly momentum core and bringing it in against threats like Skarmory and Slowking. These two can also clean up extremely well after Vanilluxe has weakened the opposing team. Salamence + Excadrill provide two forms of hazard control to help keep Rocks off the field for Vanilluxe, while Slowking provides solid defensive utility alongside Salamence and Zarude to help keep Pokemon like Mamoswine and Zygarde in check.
