Let's go through the team, from top to bottom. Calm mind Sableye is, I believe, an underrated Pokemon. Calm mind allows Sableye to force out passive Pokemon like Gliscor, and sweep late game once its checks are dealt with. Max defense allows Sableye to avoid the 2HKO from jolly Mega Medicham's thunder punch in electric terrain. Shadow ball is chosen over dark pulse to hit fairies harder. Sableye can spam protect and recover after a cm boost to stall out sun against Zard Y and rain against specs Greninja. It can also stay in on Heatran after a boost. Aside from checking Medicham and providing a win condition, Sableye denies hazards from various Pokemon, like tank Chomp, Gliscor, Ferrothorn, and Toxapex. Avalugg provides a lot of role compression for the team. It checks a variety of wallbreakers like Mega Mawile, Mega Gyarados, icium Kyurem Black, and Mega Pinsir. It also provides hazard control with rapid spin, which can remove rocks against the likes of moldbreaker Excadrill, Lando, and Garchomp. It checks Lando's flynium and Garchomp's dragonium sets comfortably, and can check rockium sets if sturdy is intact; just be wary of Garchomp's rough skin. Speaking of sturdy, Avalugg can revenge kill a setup sweeper like Serperior if things get out of hand. The given defense and HP EVs with an impish nature allows Avalugg to avoid the 2HKO from banded Crawdaunt. The rest is put into SpD to better take earth power from Kyurem Black. Rocky helmet is necessary to get enough damage output on some of the Pokemon Avalugg checks, like Mega Mawile, Mega Gyarados, and CC Mega Pinsir; it also punishes u-turn from Lando and others. Chansey is the quintessential Stall Pokemon, so of course it is on the team. I run mixed defenses instead of max HP to better check special attackers, like Zard Y, Serperior, and Magearna. Speaking of which, confide is used over seismic toss to check cm pain split Magearna and cm Blacephalon. Heal bell is necessary on every stall team, as is recovery. Wish is used to keep Celesteela healthy throughout the game. I know max hp provides bigger wishes, but only by 30hp, which usually won't make a difference. Gliscor serves as the Heatran check of the team. It also checks banded Tyranitar, and can absorb status. Roost is obligatory recovery, EQ OHKOs Heatran (and chips switch ins), and defog removes Heatran's rocks (and any that manage to get past Avalugg and Sableye). I couldn't fit stealth rock on Chansey or another 'mon, so I had to put it on Gliscor. You can use it on a predicted switch in to a flying/levitating Pokemon, and Tornadus lacking taunt (just be wary of knock off, as you won't be able to freely heal bell if toxic orb gets knocked off). The given EV spread with a Careful nature allows Gliscor to avoid the OHKO from Timid Heatran's Inferno Overdrive. It also can't be OHKOed by Tyranitar's ice beam, takes Lando's HP ice much better, and generally takes special hits easier. The given 212 speed EVs allow you to outspeed timid Heatran. The HP investment hits a number divisible by 8, maximize recovery from poison heal. Celesteela checks a few breakers that would otherwise break this team, like Lele, Bulu, sub seed Serperior, and Kartana. It is also a secondary check to Mega Pinsir. Unlike most other Kartana checks, Celesteela does not lose to normalium sets (2nd most popular set, behind scarf). Shed shell prevents Magnezone from trapping you; this is necessary because Magnezone is usually paired with Pokemon that Celesteela is needed to check, like Lele and Kartana. A spread of 248HP and 156SpD allows Celesteela to avoid the 2HKO from Specs Lele's hp fire. The rest of the EVs are dumped into defense with a relaxed nature to better check physical threats. Heavy slam bops Lele and Bulu, while flamethrower overkills Kartana. Leech seed provides additional recovery in tandem with wish, and chips switch ins. I decided to use toxic over protect because protect is less useful without leftovers, and I was tired of the constant switching and volt-turn spam. Toxic provides a more permanent punishment for switch ins than leech seed. Finally, we have the obligatory unaware 'mon, which is Pyukumuku in this case. Block allows Pyukumuku to effectively stall out sweepers in tandem with toxic. Spite allows Pyukumuku to check substitute sweepers like Kommo-o and Keldeo. It also allows Pyukumuku to check Reuniclus and pp stall Toxapex. It can spam haze to avoid losing all of its other moves' pp, but then Sableye freely sets up on it; this is great for fat teams that can't offensively pressure Sableye. Maximum defense allows Pyukumuku to better check the myriad of physical sweepers it checks, like Zard X, sand rush Excadrill, Hawlucha, and Mega Lopunny.
