Despite its decent bulk, it gives no defensive utility due to lack of useful resistance, which leaves it rather awkward or hard to fit onto most teams. It is also matchup dependent, while it has a great matchup against more defensive team, it tends to struggles against more offensive team as they can simply overpowered it. It relies on certain moves and EV spread in order to reliably trap specific pokemon and is prone to an unexpected lures if not properly scouted such as Shed Shell users, certain moves and Z-Crystal.
