Rotom-Frost @ Damp Rock
/ Waterium Z / Icium Z
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Blizzard
- Rain Dance
- Thunder
Rotom-Frost in addition to its position as an amazing offensive pivot with great STAB options can actually include 'weather setter' in its resume. It even has the ability to benefit from the weather that it sets through Thunder, giving it a more powerful STAB option that also cannot miss with Rain up.

Liepard @ Damp Rock
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Encore
- Rain Dance
- U-turn
Liepard is possibly the best setter of rain, bringing both Prankster and a usable offensive presence while retaining the ability to pivot. It also brings Knock Off utility and can use priority Encore on Pokemon that would attempt to set up and sweep against a rain team.

Poliwrath @ Normalium Z
/ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Waterfall
- Brick Break
- Ice Punch
- Belly Drum
Poliwrath is ZU's best Swift Swim abuser, having decent stats with a workable speed when Rain is up, good STAB options, good coverage and the ability to use Belly Drum to abuse its increased speed to the fullest and sweep. Liepard meanwhile covers up Poliwrath's Psychic weakness while Rotom-Frost resits Flying for Poliwrath and can safely switch into most Electric attacks and pivot back out for momentum.
---Teambuilding Weaknesses---
While this core is incredible offensively, it does underwhelm defensively. Both of the Rain Dance setters are weak to Fighting type moves, notably priority, Volt Switch can freely be used against this core, Grass types can cause problems through their STAB, and the core lacks specially offensive breaking power. This core also deeply appreciates hazard support to help wear down opposing Pokemon into KO ranges.
