Greninja

Greninja is generally a worse Meowscarada, with 1 lower base Speed, a much smaller support movepool, and a resistance to Steel, but it is OHKOed by Electrode-H Chloroblast, and it has Switcheroo instead of Trick, which can matter against some Imprison users and plays nicer with Protean. It also is still faster than the Court Change linchpin Cinderace. Switcheroo can be used both offensively as well as defensively, with Toxic Orb in particular both letting Greninja get a self-injuring status and being a nasty item to Switcheroo onto Steel- and Poison-types. While Greninja wants to keep its Dark type to stay protected from Pranksters, so it often wants Torrent, Protean lets it switch typings to become weaker to Steel Beam, with Snowscape even making it weak to Steel Beam and setting Snow at the same time. If using Sitrus Berry, 1 HP IV makes Greninja's max. HP odd so Sitrus Berry activates as rarely as possible. Greninja's nature depends on if you want to try your luck with Protean making it Steel Beam fodder after switching it in: if you do, Naive is the best nature. Otherwise, since Greninja is not OHKOed by any viable Steel Beam users while it keeps its innate Water/Dark typing, Timid and Hasty natures are both better. Tera Ghost lets Greninja escape trappers, while Tera Ice makes Greninja permanently weak to Steel Beam and Stealth Rock. Both of them come at the cost of losing protection from Pranksters.
