The team focuses on using the combo of Future Sight + Close Combat to deal massive damage. Solgaleo is a good defensive piece in general, with the incredible Steel typing and longevity with Morning Sun. Moltres and Chansey complete Solgaleo's defensive core, with each providing their own unique utility (Moltres clears hazards and resists Fighting and is immune to Ground; Chansey sets rocks and is immune to Ghost types) and acting as pivots. Zamazenta and Urshifu both provide the Close Combat for the FS+CC combo. Zamazenta has both high speed and power, allowing it to run Choice Band to further increase its Attack, it has plenty of coverage moves to better punish any switchins. Urshifu is equally as strong, if not stronger in some regards, but lacks the speed, so it runs Choice Scarf to make up the difference. It has a powerful secondary STAB in the form of Wicked Blow, that can slice through unprepared teams, and U-Turn to pivot around. Naganadel rounds out the offensive core, a set up sweeper that can take advantage of weakened teams. Overall, the team has a powerful defensive core that supports a strong offensive core.
